Service Description

A few hours to slow down, create, move, imagine and connect. Our extended Balance & Bloom Holiday Experiences gently nurture the whole child through creativity, emotional wellbeing, movement, meditation, story, nature, playful learning and connection. While each session has a dominant creative theme, children also experience the wider B&B rhythm. This includes our warm welcome circle with Sean on guitar, movement and music, calming meditations, beautiful stories, thoughtfully designed provocations, playful literacy and numeracy invitations and a reflection & gratitude circle to finish. Children are supported to engage at their own pace and in their own way, with no pressure to complete activities or create in a particular way. Our hope is that children leave not only with their beautiful creations, but also with a sense of calm, confidence, belonging and joyful inspiration. ⸻ 🌿 Nature Playdough Nurturing purposeful play, sensory exploration & emotional wellbeing A rich, hands-on creativity experience centred around the magic of homemade nature playdough. Together we’ll make our own playdough, adding colour and fragrance, while exploring a breathwork game, natural loose parts, ephemeral art, letter and number play, texture pressing, storytelling and imaginative invitations to create and play. Designed to nurture creativity, emotional wellbeing, confidence, fine motor skills and joyful learning through purposeful play. ⸻ 🌈 Imagination Gardens Nurturing imagination, storytelling & creative confidence A magical creativity experience designed to spark wonder, storytelling and imaginative thinking. Children will dream up and create creatures, tiny worlds, characters, treasures and imaginative creations ~ from dragons and dinosaurs to fairies, magical gardens, inventions and beyond. Designed to nurture imagination, confidence, language, emotional expression and joyful creativity in a calm, inspiring space. 📍 216 Hibiscus Coast Highway, Ōrewa 🕒 10am-2pm 👧 Designed for 3-13 years (+ adults of all ages!) 📅 8th July (Nature Playdough) + 16th July (Imagination Gardens) Parent Options: Children 5+ may attend as a drop-off experience, or parents/caregivers are warmly welcome to stay nearby and observe. Families may also choose an optional Create Together Add-On to join in the creative experience alongside their child. For tamariki under 5, a caregiver is asked to remain onsite to support their experience. More info below inside the images :)
